  {% endhint %}

# ENJ Staking

ENJ Staking allows you to temporary lock your ENJ into on-chain nomination pools. Nomination pools hold the deposited ENJ and use it to nominate validators. This allows any ENJ holder to participate in securing the Enjin Relaychain and earn ENJ rewards every day. Depending on the pool, you could earn 10-25% APY on your ENJ by keeping it staked

***

### What Happens On-Chain When Staking

* ENJ is transferred to the pool's `STASH` (blockchain-controlled address) and sENJ is minted to your address
* Your position is tracked on-chain
* Your sENJ is passively earning daily ENJ rewards (restaked)
* You receive Fee Reducers + Max Stack Boosters NFTs upon reaching 7 Achievement milestones

***

### Staking Flow

1. Go to `Wallet` tab on [Jinex App](https://app.jinex.io)
2. Select `Enjin Coin (ENJ)` on `Relaychain`
3. Press `Stake on a Jinex Pool`
4. Select an available Jinex Pool
5. Enter the `ENJ` amount you want to stake on the selected pool
6. Press `Stake`
7. `Approve` the transaction request in your wallet
8. Track transaction state and wait until finalization

***

### Staking Transaction States

* `SUBMITTED` → staking transaction sent
* `PENDING` → awaiting confirmation
* `SUCCESS` → completed

***

### Important Rules

Only ENJ staked **through** [**Jinex App**](https://app.jinex.io) counts toward Achievements and NFT rewards

External staking earns only ENJ from Enjin Blockchain, not Jinex NFTs

***

### Risks

* Network latency
* Validator performance

***

### Notes

* Always wait a bit before retrying
* Do NOT spam transactions

***

### Nomination Pools

# Coming Soon

Jinex is evolving into a fully integrated DeFi and multi-chain DEX ecosystem — where liquidity, NFTs, and tokenization converge into a single protocol.

The next phase introduces new primitives designed for instant liquidity, capital efficiency, and on-chain governance.

***

### Instant Liquidity Primitives

#### ENJ Loans

Unlock liquidity without exiting your position.

* Deposit **sENJ** as collateral
* Instantly receive **ENJ**
* Repay in ENJ to unlock your sENJ

***

#### Instant Unstake

Exit your position instantly — no waiting periods.

* Send **sENJ** to the protocol
* Receive **ENJ immediately**

Designed for speed, simplicity, and real-time liquidity access.

***

## Jinex DEX

Jinex expands into a **multi-chain DEX layer**, powered by a dual-asset system and protocol-aligned incentives.

***

### JIN: Dual-Asset Architecture

JIN is split into two interoperable layers, each optimized for different roles in the ecosystem.

***

#### JIN Token (Enjin Matrixchain)

The core utility and value layer of Jinex.

**Key utilities:**

* Pay protocol fees with **reduced rates** on:
  * Pool Swaps
  * Loans
  * Instant Unstakes
* Store of value via **Infusion mechanics**
* Value accrual driven by:
  * Protocol usage
  * Liquidity flows
  * System activity

JIN Token acts as the **internal economic backbone** of Jinex.

***

#### JIN Coin (Polkadot AssetHub)

The execution and governance layer for the Jinex DEX.

**Key utilities:**

* Pay DEX fees with reduced rates
* Trade across multiple chains
* Participate in protocol governance

This layer enables scalability beyond the Enjin ecosystem.

***

### Governance Layer

#### Crypto Creation Proposals

Jinex introduces a permissioned token creation system designed to prevent low-quality token spam.

**How it works:**

1. A creator submits a proposal to launch a new token
2. JIN Coin holders vote on approval
3. Voters earn JIN rewards — regardless of outcome

**If approved:**

* The token is minted directly to the creator
* Instantly integrated into the Jinex DEX
* Supported by APIs and tooling for easy integration into apps and games

This creates a **curated token ecosystem**, avoiding the typical “token graveyard” problem.

***

### Crypto Swap

The Jinex DEX enables efficient trading between JIN and major assets.

**Initial pairs:**

* JIN ↔ USDT
* JIN ↔ USDC

**Order types:**

* Market
* Limit
* OTC

***

### Cross-Chain Expansion

With the upcoming **Sentosa upgrade**:

* ENJ ↔ Stablecoin trading will be enabled
* Deployment expands to **Enjin Matrixchain**
* Further expansion to **AssetHub via Hyperbridge ENJ**

This unlocks true multi-chain liquidity routing.

***

### System Design Philosophy

Jinex is built around a core principle:

> **Protocol usage reinforces long-term value**

* Liquidity stays within the system
* NFTs enhance utility, not speculation
* Token creation is curated, not permissionless chaos
* Incentives are aligned between users, creators, and the protocol

***

### What’s Next

This is only the foundation.

Jinex is evolving into a complete on-chain financial layer combining:

* DeFi primitives
* NFT-based mechanics
* Multi-chain liquidity
* Governance-driven token ecosystems

More features, integrations, and infrastructure upgrades are already in development.
